Pei-Jung Lin

Associate Professor

Pei-Jung Lin received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Feng Chia University. Prof. Lin specializes in brain-computer interface technology, extended reality human-machine interaction, wireless mesh networks, and medical informatics applications. She has overseen a cumulative total of more than 20 projects, assuming leadership roles in initiatives by the National Science Council, collaborative industry-academic partnerships, Ministry of Science and Technology industry-academia projects, and government-sponsored endeavors. With 11 patents and numerous gold medals from esteemed domestic and international invention competitions, her proactive involvement in industry-academic projects has facilitated 14 instances of successful technology transfer, resulting in her receiving the prestigious Excellent Presentation Award for collaborative achievements with the Ministry of Science and Technology. Professor Lin's dedication to academia is evident through her past position as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Hungkuang University. Under her guidance, the teams she cultivated have achieved a remarkable record of over a hundred award-winning accomplishments across various competitions. She has been honored at the university level with awards for Outstanding Mentorship, Exceptional Innovative Teaching Courses, Superior Educational Materials, and Excellence in Instructional Support Media Creation. Her current research pursuits encompass interdisciplinary applications of mixed reality technology in medical physical therapy, as well as the integration of VR and Electroencephalogram (EEG) technologies, within the intricate domain of UAV image recognition.
